Vocabulary MP2 Set #6 Homework

1)Absolute Cell Reference- identifies the location a cell or group of cells in Excel or other spreadsheets.

2)Active Cell-  the cell you are currently working on.


3)Argument- a reference or value that is passed to a function, procedure, subroutine, command, or program.

 
4)AutoFill- the feature to extend a series of values based on the contents of a single cell.


5)Cell- a device that delivers an electric current as the result of a chemical reaction.

6)Cell Reference- The column number and the row letter of a cell.

7)Cell Style- determines how each cell will look.


8)Chart- a visual display of information.

9)Column- a line of units following one after another.

10)Column Heading- A standard Windows control that can be used to provide interactive column titles for a list.

11)Complex Formulas- Converts real and imaginary coefficients into a complex number.

12)Embedded Chart- a chart that is drawn on the same worksheet as the data.


13)Filter- device that removes something from whatever passes through it.

14)Formula- a representation of a substance using symbols for its constituent elements.

a sequence of bits that is interpreted according to some data type.


39)Workbook- A window or task management technique that consists of a set of views that are organized like a tabbed notebook.

40)Worksheet-
A single working area in a spreadsheet program, consisting of a grid of lettered columns and numbered rows.
